In the 70s and 80s South Africa had its own Nam war, 3000 kilometers from home.
Unlike Vietnam, not much has been written or documented about this war.
It wasn't a "fashionable" war.
Thousands did not return and today thousands are still fighting other "Nam" war.
Preserving this history, which has been disgracefully been deleted from South African history books, is a tribute to my two fallen brothers in arms who sacrificed their lives on that fateful night in May 1980.
